Luxureyes and The Himalayan Cataract Project

As a company founded during one of the most progressive era’s on this planet – we always intend to use our ability (however it may be) to provide charitable/philanthropic assistance, whether it include quality in our equipment, our lenses, or our frames. We intend to be a premier philanthropic company on that spectrum. If you notice some of our frames may hold asterisks (**) beside their descriptions. This means that a percentage of the proceeds of the frame sale will go to the ‘Himalayan Cataract Project.’

Now, why does this happen to be the organization in which we want to give our help to?

Well, it’s simple. We are a company that is inclined in continuing the affordable eyeglass trend but doing it in a completely different level – reducing costs, and therefore reducing the prices for our customers as well. People should not have to go broke for vision, as it is not a luxury. The Himalayan Cataract Project fights an issue that still sadly plagues the world to this day. Millions of people every year go blind, and most of them only do so because they are not given the proper medical care. With The Himalayan Cataract Project sending a group of doctors to the Himalayas, and other neighboring developing/impoverished countries to perform cataract surgeries to the many people suffering from the preventable eye illness. Cataracts should not be responsible for blinding people in the 21st century, and we are supporting this organization with our community!
